I followed a guy on YouTube and set my PPT/TDC/EDC in AI tweaker/PBO/Manual (Asus MOBO) to 1000. Now whenever I apply a profile on Ryzen Master it changes to 1000.

How can I make it default without going into BIOS? I have reset the CMOS, and it loads the default values, however, when I apply the Ryzen master profile, it changes to 1000 on all three.

Select the profile in the left pane, then perform a Reset Profile at the screen bottom to clear the settings.

You can also go into Settings bottom left pane

and set write PBO to BIOS to OFF, if you don't want future RM PBO tweaks saving to your BIOS.

Note that CO tweaks in RM also save to BIOS by default.

Still not working, showing 1000 again!

I've reset everything, uninstalled and reinstalled Ryzen Master, Write to PBO turned off in settings

When I go into Creator Mode/PBO, all 3 are set to 1000 by default.

It loads the default values only when I apply Creator Mode/Default.

Why are you using Creator Mode?

You originally stated you are using a profile?

Configure Profile1 with the settings you want, and turn off the "write to BIOS" options in Settings. Then you can apply the Profile1 every time you boot without RM saving anything to BIOS.

My apologies, I didn't realize there was a difference between creator mode and profile mode, but even after doing the same thing in profile mode, it still changes to 1000.

You stated you performed a Clear CMOS but have you checked BIOS to verify PBO is not still set to Manual and 1000/1000/1000?

It seems those settings are being stored somewhere.

Yes, the overclocking is auto in the AI Tweaker/PBO manual, and it's 0 in advanced/PBO manual

by default, PBO is Auto in my BIOS.

My bios have also been updated to the latest version, so the old settings should be erased, right?

Try uninstalling Ryzen Master, then delete the C:\Program Files\AMD\RyzenMaster folder before reinstalling.

Also make sure you download the latest version 2.14.0.3205

Reading the thread,  when you do a CLEAR CMOS your Motherboard BIOS goes to its "Default" settings including PBO correct. But once you launch Ryzen Master after doing everything the Funkz mentioned it still is changing BIOS to 1000 instead of its default settings correct?

It is possible that Ryzen Master has created some Registries in Window's Register that are still active.

I would uninstall Ryzen Master with a program like Wise Uninstaller (free) or Revo Uninstaller (Paid) that removes all traces of program including registries when it is uninstalled.

Note: I use both Wise Uninstaller (wife's computer) and Revo Uninstaller (My computer) both free and paid versions does a good job of removing all traces when removing a App or program.

Reset BIOS back to "Default" except input you RAM speed if using XMP or EXPO. Make sure that PBO is back to default in UEFI BIOS.

Download the latest Ryzen Master from AMD from here: https://www.amd.com/en/products/software/ryzen-master.html

Before installing Ryzen Master again run a Registry Cleaner like CCleaner to make sure there are no traces of Ryzen Master in the Registry.

Then install Ryzen Master again and see if the same problem occurs.

Also do you have Asus own program to configure your processors and fans etc. I forgot the name at the moment. Make sure that isn't causing the problem. In case Ryzen Master is affected by the installed Asus Motherboard program.

Hi elstaci, thanks for the detailed info! But it isn't working for me sadly.

I have already uninstalled using Revo Uninstaller pro, but it still shows 1000 after doing a disk cleanup as well.

There is no Asus software installed on my system, and armory crate was disabled in my BIOS so that it won't install.

Clear temp folder, look for AMD or Ryzen master in documents and delete folder.
