I have a RX 7900XTX with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D. On a B650 Plus motherboard from Asus. 

Little backstory beforehand. Tried to do normal PBO with -30 and 90 as upper limit for temps and my system was stable when running furmark or other stress tests like cinebench. Even when playing games everything was stable. My PC crashes when i go to normal desktop and do something when im in my browser.  So everything not work heavy related makes the pc freeze. I tried tracking everything with hwinfo and temps seem fine and even frequencies seemed to be fine as far as i could see. After the freeze i cant track those afterall. 

The freeze is weird as well. The browser as well as every other programm will stop working. Youtube will continue playing the sound but the tabs are unresponsive. i can stil open new apps but those only open a blank window and after a while even Wallpaper engine will crash and my screen will turn black. 

I literally cant even shutdown the pc anymore. The option to shutdown still shows but the shutdown process wont work. The hud still animates when i go over objects only every form of functionality dissapears. I have to Hard reset the pc and AMD Adrenaline will just revert the settings to normal and everything will work again.

If i leave the pc as stock as it is everything runs perfect and even the micro stutters i experienced where only AMD Freesync lowering My Desktop Refresh Rate to 60Hz which made it feel very unresponsive. So Turning it off permanently is just the way to go now feels way better.

After all that i just setup a new windows cause i kinda got fed up with all the crashes and only have XMP enabled and fast startup disabled. Also if i disable XMP my Startup time gets down to 12 seconds from the 39 i have right now. ( just a random fun fact that makes total sense).

My Main Issue right now is: My windows is clean and everything works fine. I still want to do minor changes to the fan curves, because the pc turns up the fans to like 100% in even the lightest games expect League i guess ( Maybe because of gpu usage). 

I wanted to use AMD´s inbuild preset for Quiet Mode cause i tought that Amd should make something that works but even on Quiet the PC freezes.

Didnt have a single BSOD and even Viewer only showed a critical error with Ryzen Master not loading althought i dont have it installed.

Can anybody explain to me what i should do? I myself am studying Artifial Intelligence Right now and Code myself. I just want to wrap my head around what im able to do, that does not involve searching 20 years in registry entries and changing 20 settings to accomodate a stable system´. Why cant i at least use presets from AMD ?

(Already did DDU and clean installs of every software) Mobo version is 3024

Amd Adrenaline Version: 24.10.1

I had this problem on every single driver version so i can rule out driver issue at this point.

Also the pc freezes already when i just change the fan curves a miniscule ammount or raise power level of gpu to 15%.

If i can give any more info that could help please tell me what you need to know. Did every kind of test already every single one of my components is rather new and works 100%.
multiple long memtest runs also rule out memory being bad. 

Like the performance of the setup. But hate all the issues a non Tech affine person wouldnt be able to solve.

I wonder if your computer freezes are related to one or more browsers.  I suggest you look at the startup processes in Task Manager and see if Edge and Chrome are starting up.  Look for other apps like Norton Anti Virus, motherboard apps and things of this nature.  I would make a list of what is scheduled to run at startup and then start disabling them one by one (keeping track on your list) on startup to see if the freezes stop at some point.  It could be a conflict between certain apps.

Edge is deinstalled. Also all startup apps are disabled but, LG hub ,wallpaper engine, Ear Trumpet and Vanguar for league.

I know for a fact that those are not causing the crash. Althought im havent tested LGhub. But it wouldnt matter, cause i need it open for all my peripherals to work. My keyboard, mouse and headset all load the settings from the app after it has been loaded on startup so i need lg hub to work on startup.

Northon: Dont have only Antivirus i run is Windows Defender

Motherboard apps : only one is Armory Crate and Amd Adrenaline, Rest is downloaded myself. Like DDU und such, But none are aktive at any given time. Not even on startup.

As i said before event Viewer had a critical error at the exact same time my pc froze which said something like Ryzen Master couldnt overwrite files that already existed. But i dont even have Ryzen Master installed .

When i tried installing it opening it was hard anyways. It doesnt work with Base Windows you apparently have to change settings in Regedit or delete a file in amd folder i think. Dunno what i did before to activate Ryzen Master again, it just worked. But its utility didnt benefit me in any way, as the 7 7800X3D doesnt get much return out of overclock. I tried a overclock undervolt but everything just reacts the same way. Its unstable in the lower frequencies i think. Rx7900XTX had issues like that i believe.

Maybe a clean reinstall of Windows is worth a try.
