Ram memory overclock

Hi guys! 

Could you tell me how can I overclock only my RAM memory?

I can't use AMD EXPO because it gives my CPU high voltage, high temperatures and system is unstable. It can't get through Aida64 and Cinebench, without EXPO everything is fine but my ram is locked on 4800Mhz . Also strange thing things happen, when CPU is throttling because of temperatures, CPU isn't reducing clocks, system is unstable, games are crashing after 5 minutes, generally I don't want to use EXPO. I had Intel motherboard, I was using XMP profile and the same thing happened. CPU got high voltage, locks on 3.9Ghz, temperatures was high also but system was stable. 

I tried to find DRAM voltage but I don't see it, maybe some of you could help me with this? I wan't to overclock only ram, I don't want to touch processor because it boost sometimes to 6.2Ghz by itself, average is 5.8 so it's enough for me.

I used to have MSI motherboard and UEFI was simple, I overclocked everything without problems but ASUS has strange UEFI for me.

PC Specs:
R5 7600x

ASUS B650-A Gaming WIFI ROG STRIX

Kingston Fury Beast 32GB (2x16) 6000Mhz CL36 EXPO AMD

EDIT: 

I want to get 6000Mhz with CL36, I don't want to go any higher than that, this would be more than enough for me. What options should I change to make this without touching CPU?

Not being marked with QVL means, it was not tested by ASUS (QVL = Qualified Vendor List) so its not guaranteed that it will work as advertised.

If you can return the modules and try another set it would be the best.

You can do the following but make sure you are comfortable with tweaking, as with any OC, it can damage your components and void the warranty, DO THIS at your OWN risk!

Try inside your BIOS under DRAM frequency set manually to DDR5-5600
set DRAM VDD 1.3v
set DRAM VDDQ 1.3v

Check if these timings remained as it was on 4800
DRAM CAS#Latency 40
DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay 39
DRAM RAS# PRE Time 39
DRAM RAS# ACT Time 80

Additional: Setting Command Rate to 2T can sometimes help with stability.

Reboot and let it train memory, it will turn on and off several times.
This either will boot into Windows or boot cycle (lots of times) back to BIOS and you have to reset to defaults.

If you can't boot into BIOS, after several boot attempts, CMOS Clear Button. (read manual on how to do it)

When in Windows run some stress test to see if its stable.

This is a very basic simple and easy steps, but again read my warning above.

I'm into a week now, EXPO II profile, Offset +0.1 vSOC, -0.1vCore, manual DRAM VDD and VDDQ 1.35, 6000MT and I put that DRAM RAS# ACT Time value to 80 and left the others alone.

vSOC offset adjust may increase stability to CPU IMC (integrated memory controller), but very wary of this setting, monitor the voltages closely, I don't feel that going above 1.4 is good in the long run.

Check if your Kingston modules are these exact model because the board QVL only support this exact one at 6000

Try a x670 motherboard.  You are using a budget board, maybe it can't do it.

There are X670 boards less capable than that 250ish Strix Board. That, by no means, is a budget board and rather a upper-mid tier. 

If its in the QVL, the chances are, you may have something bad there, either the board, ram or the cpu.

I would keep troubleshooting fast, specially if you can still RMA.

Try upping the speed to 5600 and increase dram/vsoc voltage manually with some loose timings to check it out. Dont go past 1.35v on voltages or leave it at auto if you feel uncomfortable. 

I had issues with DOCP/XMP on my DDR4 kit from corsair too. Had to tweak a bit and now its OK at 3200. My brother had issues too reaching 3200 with the same corsair kit, but then after a change to team group all went fine, and with a 1700X on a B350.

I don't really know what is QVL, I'm not that much into pc. But, I made research and...  I found site where my memory isn't mark as QVL. Was it that? 

Also I made photos of ASUS UEFI, which one is DRAM Voltage? Where should I set voltage to 1.35?

Also which headlings should I fill with timings?

Unfortunately I can't return memory . Now I know what to do. I'll try these settings and I will let know how it works. Again, thank you very much.

Since I finally just built my AM5 and DDR5, I'm now on the same boat as you do.
Got plenty of BSODs as well.

But after some tweaking they finally seem stable with OCCT, Cinebench and Heaven.

My board is similar to yours but with the X670E because I have the 7950X and needed more VRM headroom.

The ram is G.Skill RGB Z NEO 6000 EXPO

I'll keep posting here if I get more BSOD's so we can continue the tweaking process.
When you can, give me some feedback.

Hello! Sorry that last update was long time ago, i didin't had much time.

 

Soooo, I set auto timings I believe it was 48 48 48 77, 1.35v and 6000mhz. It crashed, 5800 crashed, as you said 5600mhz didin't crashed and passed every test. Tommorow I will try timings from my memory box, it will be 36 36 38 if I'm correct. But here's the question what RAS# timing should I use if my stock setting is 77?

BTW thank you very much I overclocked my ram and I have no problem with cpu and my system stability anymore

Hello, sorry it was long time ago since my last feeback, I had not much time to do OC.

So, overclocked my memory with 1.35v, auto timings and 6000Mhz and it crashed, I tried 5800Mhz also it crashed, as you said I tried 5600. I set 1.35v, auto timings and 5600mhz, it passed aida64 test and some games. Tomorrow I'll try lower timings:

DRAM CAS#Latency 36
DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay 38
DRAM RAS# PRE Time 38
DRAM RAS# ACT Time ???

36-38-38 is on my memory box and here's the question. What DRAM RAS# ACT Time should I use? My stock uefi RAS timing is 77, should I stay with 77 or make it 80?

Btw, thank you very much! My memory is now overclocked (except timings) and I have zero problem with system stability or CPU :D, again thank you very much, love you man!

Okay I'm after testing it in games/programs.

My memory isn't going anything above 5600Mhz. I tried everything as you said, they are just naughty. After tests I got stability at: 

DRAM VDD 1.35v
DRAM VDDQ 1.35v

DRAM CAS#Latency 36
DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay 38
DRAM RAS# PRE Time 38
DRAM RAS# ACT Time 80

5600Mhz clock

I guess I can't do more with this type of memory. Anyway, thank you very much for help! It's overclocked, it's stable, I got more fps and more overall performance
