new pc with 9800x3d+7900 xtx

so i got my new pc 4 days ago, running with adrenaline 24.12.1
and i got driver timouts on star citizen, warzone(when i enable FSR3),and sometimes on Battlefield 2042,
and all other games(cs2,the finals, fortnite and some other) running fine
so i saw that if i limit my max Mhz on the driver the games that crash are not crashing anymore

btw im with 34 ultrawide monitor 144hz and if i turn on the pc at the startup the screen is half black so i have to go down to 120hz every time i shut down the pc if i want it to not happen

is it normal? i have faulty card or just bad drivers?

Truth to be told, frequent Driver Timeouts is usually a hardware issue; which is something that many people don't want to believe. (Just like the BSOD, which is generally a hardware issue, if it happens multiple times throughout the day.)

Since you only got your card 4 days ago, I'd RMA it and get another XTX. The reason being is because I have a similar rig and haven't had any issues with any chipset and/or graphic drivers since I built my PC, back in March 2024.
