Issue with 5700XT - Black Screen and Deactivation
Hello dear community,
I'm reaching out today with a pressing issue and I'm hoping for your help. Lately, my system has been experiencing problems with my AMD Radeon 5700XT graphics card. I frequently encounter a black screen, and I have to restart my PC to see anything again. Additionally, I've noticed that one of the two blue LEDs on the card's power connector turns red.
Here are the relevant system details:
- Motherboard: MSI Gaming Plus x570
- Processor: Ryzen 5 3600
- Memory: 48 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM
- Power Supply: 650 Watts
After a restart, Radeon informs me that the card has been shut down, and I find it disabled in the Device Manager. I have to manually re-enable it and then roll back the driver to a previous version to get the Radeon Software functioning again.
I've tried various solutions, such as disabling Resize Bar in the BIOS and turning off automatic hardware updates in Windows. Unfortunately, none of these attempts have provided a permanent solution. What's frustrating is that this problem usually occurs during gaming or rendering and, on rare occasions, when I open an application.
Has anyone here experienced similar issues or have any ideas on how to resolve this problem? I would greatly appreciate any assistance, as it's really affecting my enjoyment of using my graphics card.
Thank you in advance for your support!
