I'm buying a monitor with display port 1.2 and AMD's freesync. Does that mean its display port version is 1.2a?

I'm buying this monitor: https://www.samsung.com/es/monitors/lc24rg50/

In specifications, it says its display port version is 1.2, but I really need a monitor that's 1.2a because I have an nvidia card and want to use freesync (1.2a is needed for freesync on nvidia card). Thing is, I think that given that the monitor supports Freesync, that implies it's 1.2a, right?

That is an older model monitor so it does not have much in the way of modern features.

My LG 27UL500 is 3840x2160 and it supports HDR in Windows 10 properly. It also has FreeSync capability.
