How to cool 7800x3d without IHS?

So a friend of mine gifted me a 7800x3d. The catch? The CPU is delidded and there is no IHS anymore. What are my options? I still have a Thermalright Peerless Assasin 120 SE and i want to make this as cheap as possible because i dont have the money right now.

I thought about either direct die cooling but iam not sure if thats even possible with the Peerless Assasin or getting the Thermal Grizzly High Performance Heatspreader.

Since the Heatspreader is around 2mm thinner than the stock IHS iam not sure if the Peerless Assasin will make good enough contact with the IHS. Thermal Grizzly hasnt answered my question about compatibility yet.

Are there any other options iam missing or will either of my solutions work?

Thanks for the help!

Because the stock socket retention mechanism requires an IHS (which you no longer have) you will need a direct die frame, like this Thermal Grizzly one.
