RX 6800 XT driver crashing constant

Hello world,

I bought the following brand new components to build a pc in july 2023 and have all the components on defualt settings (non overclocked)

After some time these adrenaline driver timeouts started to happen, sometimes it crashes even before I can input my password while logging into windows and sometimes i can play on maximum settings for hours without a problem, sometimes it crashes when i alt tab and sometimes it crashes while opening ms excel. I've tried so many things, but nothing helped, i dont know what to do anymore and I'm sure if its a software issue, compatibility issue or if the thing is just broken.

My system:

  • MoBo - Asus PRIME B650M-A WIFI
  • PSU - ASUS ROG-STRIX-850G
  • CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 7700
  • GPU - PowerColor Radeon RX 6800 XT Red Dragon 16GB
  • RAM - Corsair DDR5 Vengeance 2x16GB 5600
  • SSD - Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB M.2 SSDx2
  • Monitor - iiyama G-Master GB2590HSU-B1 24,5" Full HD 240Hz IPS monitor
  • OS - Windows 11

Things I have tried, not in this particular order:

  • Update windows drivers
  • Update adrenaline driver
  • Update bios driver
  • Update chipset drivers
  • Disable core isolation
  • Disable MPO
  • Change Regedit TdrDelay values (3/8/10/30/60)
  • Change Regedit TdrLevel values (3/8/10/30/60)
  • Change Regedit TdrDdiLevel values (3/8/10/30/60)
  • Uninstall Adrenaline driver with DDU and reinstall Adrenaline driver
  • Uninstall Adrenaline driver with DDU and install PRO driver
  • Reinstall windows
  • Reseat GPU
  • Change to 2x PCIe 8slot PSU cables (no pigtail)
  • Clean Dust in case
  • Lower 240Hz mode on the monitor to 59/60 Hz
  • Enable/Disable Freesync on the monitor
  • Enable/Disable Resize bar
  • Clearing CMO

Does anyone have anything else they think may help in figuring this out?

The driver timeout seems to be a issue alot of people are dealing with.  It seems many people have tried many things but I am of the thinking this card may be defective.
