I wasn’t around for the launch of the 5000 series (or the 6000 series, lol) but I do know that AMD decided to leave the high-end market to Nvidia and focus on the lower-end and budget market. With rumors that AMD is going to take the same approach to the 8000 series, I want to know your opinions on the 5000 GPUs. Were they a hit? Did they flop? What mistakes did AMD make, and do you think that this strategy will work for the 8000 series?
