Gigabyte radeon rx560 gaming oc 2 gb with latest driver adrenalin 24.3.1 whql detected as ASUS RX560 in my system(win10/11). Is this a joke or what??? Also i cant select proper community location cuz location for PC drivers and software or PC graphics or General discussion are not listed(just white blank spots). Used firefox and chromium and got the same issue with post creation

Download GPU-Z and upload the image. It will show you the Make & Model of your GPU Card and also will show if your AMD driver is installed and working correctly.

At the top upper right corner click on "LOOKUP" to show you the exact GPU Card GPU-Z is showing you.

AMD Driver are not Manufacturer specific. All 500 series AMD Drivers works the same on all 500 series GPU cards regardless of Manufacturer.

All 500 series has "Limited AMD SUPPORT" so the version 24.3.1 is the last AMD driver for your GPU card.

Latest driver for polaris/vega was adrenalin 24.7.1. I download this version driver before. This driver version later was deleted from amd site. So only 24.3.1 is the latest now. I want answer from amd developers about my issue

This isn't a AMD Driver issue but a GPU card  vBIOS issue in my opinion.

The GPU Card you have was it purchased new or used?

The AMD driver and GPU-Z both reads from the vBIOS on the GPU Card and probably from other chips on the GPU card.

I still recommend that you download and run GPU-Z to see if it verifies Device Manager's as a Asus GPU card.

I would open both a Asus and Gigabyte Support ticket in send them your GPU card Serial Number. That will confirm or verify if you have a Asus or Gigabyte GPU Card.

The Serial Number should be on a label somewhere on the GPU Card.  Unless someone installed a Asus vBIOS on your Gigabyte GPU Card or you really do have a Asus GPU card.

Either way the AMD Driver should work for your RX 560 GPU card regardless of manufacturer.

how it can be bios issue if with 24.7.1 driver for vega polaris my video card detected as rx560, or with old driver from ms windows store my video card detected as rx560. I own this card from 2017 year with stock bios. This is defenitially driver problem. Also problem with power management, gpu and vram drop clocks and you got mouse stuttering. So you must lock gpu clock and vram clock in tuning settings via adrenalin settings or reinstall drivers 10-20 times in a row or reinstall windows 5-10 times with installation gpu driver in a row to get correct working power management in amd drivers without lock gpu and vram clocks. Also you dont need gpu-z to read data about vendor of your gpu. Its enough to read data from device manager in corresponding tab of device properties

GPU-Z is showing that you indeed have a Gigabyte RX 560 by GPU-Z's Hardware ID: 1002 - 67FF.

When you install the AMD Driver the following APIs should be check marked at the bottom of GPU-Z:

OpenCL, Vulkan (depending on the AMD Driver installed), DirectCompute, DirectML, and OpenGL 4.6.

If all those have checkmarks than the AMD driver has enabled all the correct APIs for your RX 560.

According to TechPowerUp the vBIOS version showing on GPU-Z corresponds to the same vBIOS versions at VGA BIOS page for the Gigabyte RX560 GPU cards: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/?architecture=AMD&manufacturer=Gigabyte&model=RX+560&interface=&...

It is possible that AMD Driver is misreading your GPU card as a Asus GPU Card instead of a Gigabyte GPU card. But it should not affect the driver's installation and it should work normally.

I would open a AMD SUPPORT Ticket and let them know that the AMD Driver is mislabeling or misreading your GPU card as from a different Manufacturer from here: https://www.amd.com/en/forms/contact-us/support.html

I would upload an image of GPU-Z and Device Manager after installing the AMD Driver if GPU-Z is showing Gigabyte and Device Manager is showing Asus. 

Possibly both GPU-Z and Device Manager might show Asus as the manufacturer since both would be reading from the driver.

NOTE: AMD Driver 24.7.1 might not be 100% compatible with your RX 560. You must install Driver version 24.3.1 which is the last official AMD Driver for your RX 560: https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/graphics/radeon-600-500-400/radeon-rx-500-seri...

Remove the 24.7.1 and install the 24.3.1 and see if it correctly recognizes your GPU card.

But you seemed to be very knowledgeable User. So you probably know what is best to do in this situation. I just giving you my opinion or suggestion and nothing else. You don't need to accept what I reply.

As i sad earlier amd release 24.7.1 for polaris-vega and delete it later. Amd often release new version of driver and few days or weeks later delete this version. Also with prev adrenaline 24.4.1 my gpu detected as Radeon RX560

Okay, I don't know if you just don't understand what I saying in my replies or just ignoring it.

Whatever, continue using AMD drivers newer than version 24.3.1 since you seemed to know more then AMD does.

Do you have rx560 video card like me and do you always check new driver version every week like me and for other amd products? Btw, i am working with pc parts since 1990s year(PC assembly, PC setup, PC repair), also i am software developer for windows and linux systems. I can clearly said that is driver problem. So i want answer from amd developers. They create community forum but they avoid to answer here. Maybe is a secret for you but amd often release bugged drivers and products, they use their customers as "beta testers". I am not amd fanboy, i am not intel fan boy, i am not apple fanboy or etc. I want to buy 100% working product not a beta version. Also gpu-z has problems with Windows 11. And there is no need to dispute the fact that the last version of Vega Polaris was version 24.7.1 and that it was removed from the download page

You will just need to wait until AMD updates the 24.3.1 driver officially.

It’s definitely odd for a Gigabyte card to be detected as ASUS. Sometimes, GPU misidentification can happen due to driver or BIOS mismatches. You might try a clean reinstall of the drivers using a tool like DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to fully remove any conflicting files before reinstalling the latest version from the Gigabyte website. And that blank spot issue in the forum is annoying too—hopefully they can fix it to improve user experience!
