Game crashing to a atioglxx.dll error in Future Pinball

When I play Future Pinball Jaws and Halloween, my screen goes black after playing for about 5 minutes and crashed the game. I looked at the error log in Event viewer and the error is coming from the atioglxx.dll. I have the newest version of Open GL. What can this be??? Any input would be much appreciated. These are my favorite games and it really sucks that they are crashing

Could you please test the most recent Adrenalin 24.7.1? Also, please provide your GPU details if issue persists.

I'm having the same issue with the atioglxx.dll while running Future Pinball:

"Faulting application name: Future Pinball.exe, version: 1.9.2008.1225, time stamp: 0x4d1d68d3"
"Faulting module name: atioglxx.dll, version: 32.0.11029.1008, time stamp: 0x668fe86b"
"Exception code: 0xc0000409"
"Fault offset: 0x00dae143"
"Faulting process id: 0x0x2B0C"
"Faulting application start time: 0x0x1DAF442C4A1CB3E"
"Faulting application path: C:\vPinball\FuturePinball\Future Pinball.exe"
"Faulting module path: C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\u0405988.inf_amd64_4848c4ddcd38443b\B405281\atioglxx.dll"
"Report Id: 697900f6-8a92-4167-87cd-2d36f7146bc5"
"Faulting package full name: "
"Faulting package-relative application ID: "

To reproduce all i have to do is start the application Future Pinball.exe and play it for about 10 minutes or just wait and leave it in demo mode for about 10 minutes- either way it crashes at that dll. It's like there is a memory leak or something. It will freeze the video then crash. But does it like clockwork about 10 minutes after running the application.

I'm going to attempt to use an older version of the atioglxx.dll and see if that makes a difference.

Any insights you can provide will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
John

I have the following hardware:
Motherboard ASUS B550-PLUS WIFI II
Graphics Card: MSI AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX using latest driver version (7/15/2024) 32.011029.1008

The software is a combination (2 in 1) of Future Pinball and BAM. You can find the software here:
https://www.ravarcade.pl/

It crashes running ANY future pinball table- but one I really like is this Halloween one:

Hmm, I posted a reply with all kinds of details, but it looks like your system rejected it.

Trying again in smaller chunks:
My system ->

To get the software

I use a combination of Future Pinball and BAM, so basically you run this application in BAM which will do some setup and then run Future Pinball.

You can search google for "future pinball and bam 2 in 1 installer" to find the software, then follow instructions to install.

I use 3 monitors for my setup 1 4K, 1 2K and 1 1K

I found all tables run on Future Pinball are crashing after 10 minutes, but if you want to see a specific one, search google for this one: "Future Pinball Halloween Big Bloody Mike"

Make sure you play in Cabinet Mode.

Looks like the game links and such got auto-marked as spam by the system. I've gone in and marked it as "Not Spam" so it should be in the thread now.

SOLVED!

I just ran Future Pinball for 2 1/2 hours without a crash.

I am so relieved- After spending numerous hours trying to fix this issue, I tried multiple drivers, tweaked multiple settings. After each adjustment, I would need to load the game and play it or let it sit in demo mode for 10 minutes. It crashed every time after about 10 minutes, like clockwork with that same atioglxx.dll error.

The Fix: The only thing that worked to solve this issue was to replace the video card with a non-AMD video card, sorry guys something screwy with your video cards.

I hope the post helps someone avoid hours of frustration that I endured.

Thanks- John
