Hey. I would like to know how often the database of monitors is updated https://www.amd.com/en/products/freesync-monitors . Some monitors are not in the database, and manufacturers are reluctant to share information. Interested in information on monitors Philips 499P9X and 439P9X.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the database.  There isn't a single Acer monitor certified as anything above Freesync, despite some of the models clearly meeting the criteria described here.

All it needs are 120Hz at 1080p and LFC to rise to premium.  Seems like it is still a work in progress.  You can always look for monitors that are "Gsync Compatible".  Those will also work with Freesync, and NVidia's validation process apeears to be a bit more rigorous.

It turns out this database is nothing more than misleading the user. Bravo AMD !!!

My LG panel supports it along with Windows 1809 HDR10 capability.

I guess the wider question is...does it matter?  If the AMD drivers allow you to enable Freesync and the appropriate range is shown, then it is clearly working.  Does it matter if the monitor is on the list?  I wouldn't hold my breath for many updates to the list.  Since they rolled out Freesync Premium and Pro, many monitors that meet the higher criteria are still listed as just "Freesync".
