Dedicated GPU not working with my APU

I built a PC with a AMD Ryzen 7 5700G APU with Radeon graphics. I finally purchased an AMD Radeon RX 6600 GPU and installed it with all of the drivers no issues. 

Every time I play a game it utilizes the APU 100% and my new GPU stays at 0%. I have tried everything and even uninstalled all the drivers and reinstalled them. I even set the games graphics as high as it goes to see if that would change but it does not. I have tried multiple games and still the same issue. I'm stuck and need help...

Is the monitor connected to the graphics card (not the onboard mobo socket).

Now that you've added a dedicated graphics card, the APU graphics is obsolete.
