Description of Original Problem: I am having issues with my CS2. The game crashes randomly. Sometimes it does not crash for a whole day and sometimes it crashes 2-3 times a day. In greater detail, the game freezes, then the PC goes to the desktop and an NSIS Error pops up, saying ''Error writing temporary file. Make sure your temp folder is valid''. At this point I cannot even close the game myself, I have to force close it via Task Manager.

Troubleshooting: I've tried: Checking and Cleaning the Temp Folder; Checking Disk Space; Verifying Game Integrity; Updating Graphics Drivers; Updating Windows; Clearing %temp% folder; Running the Game as Administrator; Reinstalling the Game; Checking System for Malware; Adjusting Antivirus Settings. Nothing helped.
