Can I overclock AMD Ryzen 5 3500u on laptop?

I have an HP Pavilion laptop with AMD Ryzen 5 3500u quad-core processor, Radeon Vega Graphics card, 8GB DDR4 system memory, 1.28 TB storage. I want to know if there's a program to overclock manually, what would be safe overclocked specs to protect my processor, and any other tips to get maximum performance without spending money. I originally bought this laptop to read my twitch streams chat and other stream related tasks but would like to game on the go as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Overclocking a laptop is a bad idea. Alot of them have a hard enough time keeping cool under stock specs. Your CPU would be constantly downclocking itself to prevent damage. And it's not like you can add liquid cooling to your system.

All of AMD's software concerning Over or Under clocking laptops are incompatible. They are only compatible with Desktop PCs.

There are 3rd party software that you can Over/Under clock laptops but as mentioned by @bearcat22  it is a bad idea.

Laptops are engineered to run within certain specs. If you Overclock or Underclock you will change those specs and will either cause the laptop to overheat or have power issues. Which in turn could shorten or damage your laptop in the long run.

You can play certain games with your laptop depending on the game you want to play.

Go to a Game site that lets you know which games your laptop is able to play like the following sites:
