Can I Install Windows 11 Pro in Dual CPU system with AMD EPYC™ 9754 ?

Hi,

I'm interested in builidng high performance workstation PC with dual socket system.

I wonder if it is possible to install Windows 11 Pro in the dual socket system with EPYC 9754 CPUs.

Hi, it's unlikely since the CPU platform is server based. Though according to there list, the EPYC 7000 series supports it probably with the SP3 drivers. Maybe they might include this in future.

Have you considered a Threadripper instead. Unless you are planning on using EPYC's enterprise-only features and setting up an AMD server. I think the best way to go for is a Threadripper. They are actually faster, and has no downsides.
