Just recently made a PC with a RX 6800 and 5800X. Loving it so far and is running any game I throw at it.
When I initially set out to install the driver for my 6800, I used auto-detect installer and I didn't pay attention to how it defaulted to PRO, and was using that for a week and no problems.
Saw on this sub that AMD released a new driver for adrenaline and I checked it out (I nuked my previous driver with DDU).
Starfield then had this weird film grain and random frame drops for 5 seconds then back to normal in 40 second intervals, Warzone was stuttering so **bleep** bad I had to look away.
Nuked the adrenaline driver and put PRO back on and everything is completely fine again, not stutters and fps drops.
What gives? Cause I feel like adrenaline should be working and I'm having FOMO on how Adrenaline could be giving me better performance.
