Hello, I keep getting black screens when gaming under load, and I have no idea why. Sometimes it shows up as a game error like DirectX 12 error or something similar. But most of the time, it just black screens, and then the system resets. Please help.
System specs:
- 6900 XT
- B650 Plus Wifi
- 7800X3D
- 32 GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM
- 1000W gold-rated PSU
Things I have tried that haven't fixed the problem:
- Updated GPU drivers. (This problem occurred before these unstable GPU drivers)
- Updated chipset drivers
- Checked fan curves and thermals under benchmarking (Both CPU and GPU)
- Manually updated DirectX 12
- Updated Windows
- Checked power PCIe cables
I have also looked into the Windows Event Logger and I've seen some error messages, but I don't know how to interpret them. One of them states the following: "The AMDRyzenMasterDriverV20 service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified."
I have also seen an error where it mentions system restarts and dump files, but I don't know how to interpret what the dump file says after running it through Windbg.
I have not uipdated BIOs as im not quite sure on how i'd do that. Thanks for any help I might receive.
