I've recently upgraded to a laptop with these specs:
Ryzen 3900X / 1TB NVME SSD / 32GB 3200MHZ / RTX 2070
and its my first laptop that is AMD based and I just want to say
that this is definitely the best CPU I have ever owned.
I have never experienced a CPU that doesn't miss a beat. I haven't had one program
show 'Not Responding' or crash at all - but if it does load/freeze, its only for a fraction of a second.
I use mostly Adobe, Filmora and FL Studio for music production multi-tasking two screens + laptop screen
and my experience has just been buttery smooth.
I haven't built an actual desktop PC before because Im always on the road, but for a home rig Im gonna go
with a Ryzen based chipset (Didn't even know there were newer and faster Ryzen CPU's out there)
I literally thought 3900X was the newest one .. till I watched a few YT videos. I picked it up for $250 lol.
What components would you guys recommend to go with the new 5000 series?
Especially for heavy video editing / music production usage?
I was thinking of mirroring my laptop specs but with the 5000 series instead of the 3900X,
any suggestions would help :)
