amduprofcli energy profile linux
I am using AMDuProfCLI v4.0.341.
Is it possible to get the total energy used by a program similar to the feature of Arm-Forge's perf-report?
According to the documentation (section 10.3 Limitations, p. 179) (https://www.amd.com/content/dam/amd/en/documents/developer/uprof-v4.0-gaGA-user-guide.pdf) "This feature is only on CLI and for Windows OS."
I am running on Rocky Linux release 8.7.
I think it is possible to get time series data via the timechart command but is it possible to get the integrated (total) amount for the whole program?

Hello amdtomm
Thank you for writing to us.
I have created a feature request for adding energy analysis support for Linux as well
Regarding getting the total power from timechart command, currently we get the values for a sampling interval in the total duration profiled.
I have also created another Feature request to add cumulative value/total value obtained for the total duration profiled.
I will keep you updated on the progress of the same
Thanks
Regards
Hemanth
