Hello Community,
I tried to install the amdgpu-install from the below link on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
https://www.amd.com/en/support/linux-drivers
However, the script reports a lot of unmet dependency issues upon trying to install OpenCL and Vulkan.
None of the threads in the AMD Community related to the issue provides a solution.
Could anyone suggest a recently tested and working combination of amdgpu-install version and Ubuntu version?

After re-installing my desktop Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS, I finally managed to run the installer successfully. I used the following parameters:
amdgpu-install --usecase=graphics,opencl --vulkan=amdvlk --opencl=legacy
IMHO, the amdgpu-install utility seems to be somehow dependent on the Ubuntu device discovery procedure and the consequent automatic driver and .deb packages installation.
Update:
Using a fresh Ubuntu Server 22.04 installation, I somehow managed to successfully install the following:
amdgpu-install --usecase=graphics --vulkan=amdvlk --opencl=rocr
But other arguments would still report missing dependencies, for example:
amdgpu-install --usecase=graphics,opencl,rocm,openclsdk,hip,hiplibsdk --opencl=rocr,legacy --vulkan=amdvlk,pro --no-32 --accept-eula
What is the Make & Model of your AMD GPU card?
Are you using a Professional or Consumer GPU card?
NOTE: It is possible that the AMDGPU Linux drivers are not fully compatible with Ubuntu LTS versions.
In the Release notes under Linux Drivers Compatibility OS it doesn't mention any LTS version:
But since you do have the Latest LTS version for Ubuntu I imagine it should be compatible since it gets all the latest updates and patches like regular Ubuntu OS but is more secure and stable then regular Ubuntu OS.
You can always open a AMD Support ticket and ask them if AMDGPU Linux driver is fully compatible with Ubuntu LTS or at least those that you said are having issues installing from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/contact-email-form
An old consumer-grade Radeon RX 460... but I am not sure how this relates to the Ubuntu dependencies at all.
The Ubuntu Server was installed on a virtual machine. On my desktop Ubuntu, I am still struggling with the following:
$ amdgpu-install --usecase=graphics --vulkan=amdvlk --opencl=rocr
