Hello,
I'd like to kindly ask you about possibility of the following new APU design proposal.
I've heard AMD is planning several different approaches on APUs for the year 2023, both for gaming and compute. So, would it please be possible to introduce something like all-in-one solution like this?
AMD desktop universal APU:
1 chiplet - central IO;
2 chiplets - Zen 4, 16 cores (without SMT);
2 chiplets - RDNA 3, 10 TFLOPs @ FP32;
2 chiplets - CDNA 2, 10 TFLOPs @ FP64;
+ unified memory APU architecture
... and limited only by power consumption (let's say 200W?).
I'm sure there are lots of people who would opt for this one.
Thank you anyway and Godspeed,
peter
