I basically am trying to play a game that's really old called STALKER Shadows of Chernobyl. I've looked everywhere for a fix and even tried to get a refund from where I bought it. Now I ain't a genius but I am savvy enough to understand this might have to do with the graphics card. Now I have inserted the pics below to see what is going on. I've seen the google search results that said that the 5700 is literally good with the direct x 9.0c. While the 5700xt is not. I got the 5700 not the 5700xt. I want to know if this is true. Is there a workaround with the driver I got to play a game that basically uses direct x 9.0c? I have a PC that runs Direct x 12 and heard this literally backwards and forward compatible. Any help appreciated and acknowledged.
It may have to do with where you purchased your "CDKey"
I saw it on sale on Steam last week for $4.99, how much did you pay for your "key"?
Have you tried installing any of the patches or mods like STALKER Complete?

I have an original STALKER SoC box version I purchased on DVD back when it came out and it plays fine on my 7900XT.
