AMD driver issue detected each time i start.
So every time i start my computer the screen flashes black for a second and i get the AMD driver bug report pop up. This in turn resets anything i changed in tuning which is very annoying. I cant seem to find any solution to this problem so now i am reaching out.
I also get strange issues while playing games like micro stutters in most games even 2d games, some games wont even render properly like The Surge 2 and binding of Isaac(???)
this issues can be seen in adrenaline as big peaks in frame time.
With me getting a completely broken 7900XTX on first purchase it's left quite the sour taste about this computer and i almost want to toss it in the bin.
My Setup
X670 Aorus Elite AX; F10 Bios version
G.Skill 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 Trident
Ryzen 9 7900
7900xtx sapphire nitro+
So to what i have tried so far.
- Bios updated to the newest for 3 revisions also installed AMD Chipset drivers from gigabyte
- DDU and AMD cleanup utility
- Upgraded to windows 11 and back to 10 and back to 11 same issue on both
- Checked integrity of Windows install with SFC
- Reseated GPU and swapped cables into other ports on the PSU
- Reseated CPU and changed thermal paste
- Reseated RAM
- Checked all power cables so they were firmly connected
- Turned off MPO
- Tried turning of SAM no change so turned it back on
- Tried without XMP no change so turned it back on
- Tested undervolting gpu in adrenaline but that would cause strange graphical glitches in Hunt showdown, and the setting would be reset after a restart
- Tested with no tweaks at all
