Hello there, Newbie here

I have an AMD Radeon HD 6870 running on an AMD A10-570 and16Gb RAM

I'm using 2 Iiyama PLE 2008 HDS Monitors from the DVI ports in the card

I have a spare Acer VGA monitor I'd like to use connected to the HDMI port via and HDMI to VGA adaptor, but although the AMD software and Windows display settings can see this Acer, I cannot get them to activate it.

I only user the PC for Currency Trading not gaming so nothing really heavy on the graphics.

Any thoughts please.

You should move one of the other monitors to the HDMI port with a pass-through adapter (or a DVI-to-HDMI cable), and plug the VGA monitor into one of the DVI ports with another pass-through adapter.

If that doesn't work, your best bet would be to get an active DisplayPort-to-VGA adapter.
