7900xtx RGB Led software not working

(I can't click on other discussions, sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.)

Hi, the "AMD_Radeon_RX_7900_XTX_Series_RGB_LED_x64" app hasn't been working for a while now.
When I start the app I get the message "Plug in your AMD device to get started"

I have the latest version of the GPU driver and "AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX RGB Tool" from October 16, 2024.

I just reinstalled windows 11 24h2 (clean installation) and it still doesn't work.

I've searched the internet and haven't found any solution. What's the reason?

I found a solution:
Turn off your PC, unplug it from the wall electrtic plug or from the power supply button. To drain the capacitors press the PC's power button several times and wait at least 1 or 2 minutes.
When I restarted the PC, the led software was working again.


For some reason the GPU remains in a "locked state" and continues receiving power even if the PC is turned off and connected to the power supply.
