i have a Radeon 530 that is pretty much capable of running most games at low graphics but one day I downloaded an update for the drivers and it suddenly detected it as an r7 m340 so I was really confused but I thought it did not matter so then I played a game and got these horrible lag spikes every 10 seconds so games were unplayable. I really want to get a fix for this.i am on a laptop by the way
my specs:
processor: Intel core i7 7500U
ram: 16gb
GPU: Radeon 530
You may try to remove the update and install the former driver back.
i tried that but it did nothing
Try uninstalling with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and then installing the latest drivers. If that doesn't work, DDU again and install the old drivers. If that still doesn't work, then odds are you've got something else that is conflicting with your game. It could be anything that you've installed since then, a new program, a Windows update, a piece of malware or even a virus. So make sure to run a virus scan with a decent virus scanner. If none of the above helps, try closing down programs one at a time. Your web browser for instance might be using your GPU in the background, also try closing the apps in the System Tray.
Never mind I realized that after a few hours of playing that it would start to drop fps alot like I would start a game and I would see it going firm 60fps to 10fps and it lasts for like 3 seconds I wonder is there another fix
Sorry, I don't have any other solution myself. Perhaps somebody else here has an idea?
Do a Offline scan with window defender to make sure there is no virus running around in ya system
i have the same problem .. please if you got the solution tell me
you can try to clean your driver with DDU and then install the driver provided by your Laptop OEM (HP, Dell, Acer etc)
actually it won't work too . because my laptop is Hp and the last definition of amd is old . it doesn't Corresponds to Windows 10 Version 1909 .as you can see
the driver will work - just install it!
see that .. it had happened after i used DDU then go to insert the driver with old Version
mh, download 19.12.1 and try this driver
thank you my bro .. i installed the oldest update with HP support as you told me and it works well
i know exactly what we could do we should just buy Nvidia GPUs because AMD sucks
LOLllllll .. I wish if i can do that
dude nvidias forums are full of people who also have bugs with their drivers - so pls no more of that bs
