Memorial Day 2024 LAN Party at Big Al Computers

We had a great time playing a number of games at our Memorial Day 2024 LAN party yesterday at Big Al Computers.  It ran from about 2 PM to 8 PM, when a thunderstorm was threatening the area and I wanted to shut down my ten gaming computers.  People got to their cars just in time before it started pouring!  Anyway, games played included 'World of Warships', 'World of Tanks - Blitz', 'StarCraft II', 'Cosmic Collapse' and 'War Thunder' - there were several other games too.  We had a dozen gamers and with ten gaming computers, all machines were in action at this event.  We had a raffle contest at the end and I gave away some AMD-branded items that I've collected over the past six months.

Everyone looks like they are having a blast. Gnarly setups by the way.

Thank you.  I really enjoyed this event.  I was able to game for a total of about 2 hours.  Usually, I only game for an hour if that.  I ran out of meat though; I grilled four hanger steaks and a 12-pack of boneless chicken thighs and I was last in line.  I ate potatoes!

Lots of snacks, some healthy ones too.Lots of snacks, some healthy ones too.

That's awesome. Nothing like a little extra game time and some good snacks.

Always love to see your holiday LAN posts, BigAl! Looks like another successful one in the books - sorry you got left with just the potatoes at the end there... 😂

Thanks @Wally_AMD.  What do you think about my son Tom's tattoos?  There are Alien creatures all over his upper torso.  I'm not sure where I went wrong.....

Is he a Ridley Scott fan?  Or just the Alien movies in general?

I think it's Aliens from the Ridley Scott movies that he likes.  I don't know where I went wrong...

I think these are awesome, haha. The Alien franchise rules!

I've updated my web page here.  I like to document the LAN parties and my computer builds.
