EPYC Milan CPU Virtualizing incorrect L3 cache

Hi,

I'm trying to deploy a single guest VM on a compute hypervisor using Openstack, with a AMD EPYC 7713P 64-Core Proc on the underlying host. The underlying host OS is Ubuntu 18.04 with a 5.4.0-53-generic kernel.

Problem,

The lscpu output on the guest VM is not showing the correct L3 cache information (should be 32 MiB), only consuming half of the hypervisors respective L3 cache (16MiB). This is not ideal for a clients performance testing requirements and L3 cache utilization of a single socket 64 core proc. Using libvirt flag of cpu_mode = host-passthrough has been the most consistent for cpu performance then any of the other cpu_mode flags, and should emulate the host cpu almost exactly but im not seeing thats the case.

Has anyone has run into this type of issue with virtualizing the new EPYC Milan cpus with 32MB L3 cache? Notes below
