I had the latest 11/05/21 driver for my R9 270 card and a few seconds after getting into the campaign screen the game froze, and I needed to do a hard boot to get out. I tried loads of things to fix it but eventually when I rolled back the driver to the previous one it worked.
Unfortunately I needed the update to play Warhammer 40K Gladius and must now go back and forth between the drivers to play the games without problems. Clearly there is a conflict between the older and newer driver and it will be really great if AMD can fix both problems with an updated driver.
Please AMD do another driver update so that I can still play Total War Medieval 2 and also Warhammer 40K Gladius without having to go through the issue of rolling back and updating dirvers.
I have a crash dump if it will help AMD?
