i had fatory reset my pc to install new drivers when i got my rx 6600 but when i did it it recommended i use pro drivers at first i did think much of it but now i'm doing stuff that almost needs adrenalin drivers and im wondering if there is a way to switch without factory resting or using ddu

Do you have a 'processor with graphics', what model? & is/was a monitor connected to it?

my cpu is a r5 4500 no built in gpu 

 the gpu rx 6600

b450 prime ll asus

16 gigs running at 2133 ghz 

win 11

You will have to download/save the Adrenalin pkg direct from amd site, then install from that.

And probably best to DDU the Pro drivers/software.
