so im having this issue for a long time now.
im having all my games on an hdd and they used to all load reasonably but i have noticed something and im pretty sure about it that after one or two specific gpu driver versions two specific games are loading a lot slower even with the latest drivers them being genshin impact and honkai star rail which are from the same company. i dont remember the exact version this started to occur but it was around year 2020 drivers. During those times i would struggle to find a stable driver for my gpu and would constantly fresh install newer and older versions. Other heavier games like god of war and apex legends are loading normally and a lot faster than those two.
my hdd capacity filled about 75% but even when it was around 40% loading times would be the same. i have tried cleaning temp files, fresh installing drivers and reinstalling the games but nothing really worked. my pc specs are:
cpu: ryzen 5 3600 stock with wraith cooler
ram: 2x4 g.skill 3200mhz(running on 2666mhz)
gpu: rx 580 8gb stock/undervolted(asrock phantom model)
main disk: patriot burst ssd 120gb
secondary disk: seagate baraccuda hdd 1tb
mobo: asrock b450 fatality k4
psu:coolermaster masterwatt 550 80+ bronze
im running latest chipset drivers and adrenalin version 23.4.3
if anyone has any idea whats really wrong and has a solution please let me know thank you.
