Hello.
I have a doubt and ask before 'breaking' something.
I have a RAID1 installed with two disks of 1 Tbyte each, of which I only have 500 Gb partitioned in each one; that is to say that there are 500 Gbytes left over (wasted) on each disk.
I ask: can I directly use software such as AOMEI Partition Assistant to bring the capacity of RAID1 up to the limit of 1 Tbytes??, or should I carry out a different procedure so that the RAID does not break?
Thanks for tips and suggestions.
Greetings to all,
Cesar.
Hello, you can create additional RAID levels or create Volumes out of the left over Storage space from the 2 drives.
You should be able to manage the RAID1 partition using Windows Partition manager.
Thank you very much for your reply.
I enclose a screen of my environment because I do not see the free 500 Mbyte partitions of each physical disk that make up the RAID-1.
Regards,
Cesar
