Recently I built my own PC based on ASUS motherboard Pro B650M-CT, with Ryzen 5 7600X. This motherboard offers 2 DisplayPorts and one HDMI port. ASUS support could not find a solution to fix my problem.
I would like to run my PC under Windows 11 supporting 2 Monitors (4k, 60 HZ) in Daisy Chain mode. My problem is that none of the AMD graphics drivers run stable. After a few seconds the whole PC is frozen. I have to restart in secure mode, change the driver to Windows standard driver. Then the PC runs stable (also in normal mode) but Daisy Chain is unsupported.
Unstable AMD drivers tested:
- date 2023-06-20 version: 31.0.14.070.0
- date: 2023-10-25 version: 31.0.22024.3
Stable Microsoft but slow and no daisy chain support :
- date: 2006-08-21 version: 10.0.22621.1
I cleaned the PC with DisplayDriverUninstaller several times. I also reboot my PC under Linux Ubuntu 23.10, kernel 6.5. Under Linux, the PC shows the same strange behaviour. Both monitors are supported for about 30 seconds. Then the PC also freezes as under Windows 11.
Is there any stable AMD graphic driver I can use?
