Noob driver question.

If I upgrade from a 6600 xt to a 6800 (non xt) do I need to uninstall drivers and then reinstall new ones? I believe they're the same drivers but I'm not sure and I'm not sure if it matters honestly. Sorry if this is covered somewhere I'm not familiar with these forums.

You can use DDU to remove the drivers for the graphics card and install the drivers like a clean install. If you do that you may have reinstall  the chip set drive for your motherboard.
