**bleep**! AMD.

I also sent my laptop for repair. After testing, it was indeed due to the driver of version 23.11.1 that the startup was extremely slow.

Thanks,okkakoko!

As a temporary solution, you can roll back to the previous driver, Adrenalin 23.9.1, to improve your boot times. AMD is aware of this issue and is working on a fix. In the meantime, you can also try disabling the "Fast Startup" option in Windows to see if that helps.

Here are the steps on how to roll back to Adrenalin 23.9.1:

  1. Open the AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition.
  2. Click the "Gaming" tab.
  3. Click the "Installed Version" drop-down menu and select "23.9.1."
  4. Click the "Download" button.
  5. Once the download is complete, click the "Install" button.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Here are the steps on how to disable "Fast Startup" in Windows:

  • Open the Control Panel.
  • Click "Hardware and Sound."
  • Click "Power Options."
  • Click "Change plan settings" next to your current power plan.
  • Click "Change advanced power settings."
  • Expand the "Sleep" option.
  • Expand the "Allow wake timers" option.
  • Change both settings to "Disable."
  • Click "OK" to save your changes.

I hope this helps!
