It's possible to disable multi monitor detection?

Well, i'm having a ghost/non-existent monitor being continuously connected and disconnected from the graphics card displayport connector, causing system hangs/freezings and driver crashes.

A similar behavior to some of these reports:

Sapphire R9 290x - Nonexistent 3rd monitor detected

detected non-exist second monitor

RX580 non existing second monitor

Eyefinity reconnects and disconnects

And would like to know if someone know a way to disable the multi monitor detection (the same way it is when the microsoft generic video driver is installed) or the displayport itself to try to fix this problem.

System Specifications:

Graphics Card: Sapphire RX 460 2GB

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 17134)

Driver version: Currently uninstalled AMD driver to avoid the freezing issue (which doesn't happen with the Microsoft Basic Display driver), but already tried 17.3.4, 17.12.1, 17.12.2, 18.3.3, 18.6.1 and 18.8.1

Screen: AOC I2276VW 1920x1080 @60Hz (DVI)

Motherboard: ASUS B85M-E/BR Bios Version 2110

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4440 CPU @ 3.10GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.1GHz

Power Supply: Corsair CX430

RAM: 8GB 1600mhz
