Is it normal to use old driver.

I play iRacing on triple 1080p monitors with Ryzen 5 and 6650xt xfx top model. I am on 22.11.2 the update is to 23.5.2. But when I update I get stutter without fps loss. But if I keep 22.11.2 it does not happen. Should I worry about being on a old driver or is it what ever driver works best for my game and setup, I should use.

The general rule about updating drivers, in my opinion, is to update only when necessary.

So if your current old AMD driver is working fine and there are no new features/Fixes that you want to use that might be available in newer drivers than I would keep on staying with the older driver.

If, in the future, you add an App or Game that requires a newer Driver version than you should update your driver.
