Cannot update Drivers- HD5770

Greetings,

I have two questions that are both in regard to my Radeon HD 5770 card.

First off, I know..it is time to get a new card (a new computer in whole actually) but in all honesty I have had no real issues until recently.

First off specs:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 870 @ 2.93GHz
AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series
Bios : Ver: 6.12
Size 12 GB  Free Memory 1.5 GB
Windows 7  64-bit

The first issue. I currently have installed driver : 15.301.1901-160226a-31806

The Radeon profile (on load) prompts me for a update to 16.60.2011-170210a-311199c

I go through the motions of updating but will not update. It installs and prompts for a restart and reloads.

The AMD profiler pops up again and prompts for the very same thing.

Am I able to update this? I am seeing that certain games are not operable due to this. Which, is a good segue into

my next question is which is more specific.

With the recent update to the game No Man's sky, I am unable to play. It literally does nothing upon load.

I am met with a popup however talking about compatibility with Vulkan drivers. I have no idea what this means.

Is my card compatible?

Your graphics card is considered Legacy...which means no more updates. Any message to update is a bug in the driver. There are no more updates. Ignore the message.

No, your card is not compatible with Vulkan.
