ASUS TUF RX7900 XTX OC. BEZEL COMPENSATION IN ADRENALINE 23.5.2. WRONG 6336x1080 DESKTOP RESOLUTION

First of all, sorry but I have used the google translator. I'm Spanish and I don't speak English very well.

I’ve been fighting with this for a week and there's no way:

Until a week ago I had a GTX 1080 TI and everything was working fine, my desktop resolution was 5848x1080.

My actual setup:

 I use windows 10 PRO 22H2, 64 bits (it's updated)

  1. I have updated my motherboard Bios to the latest version (just in case)
  2. I have blocked driver updates in windows update (just in case)
  3. I have done a clean installation of the adrenalin 23.5.2 (passing before DDU in safe mode)
  4. I have tried with Eyefiniti pro and it is impossible.

I have installed windows 11 on another hard drive, I have taken the same precautions as with windows 10 and NOTHING.

I am going to explain what is happening me with Eyefinity pro.

Well, my objective is to achieve 2 bezel correction of 44 pixels between the screens and set a desktop resolution of 5848x1080.

Ok, I run Eyefinity pro and order the monitors 2 / 3 / 1 (the "identify" button tell me)

I leave the "Horizontal Offset" at 0 for the monitor 2 (the one on the left)

Now I enter a horizontal offset of 44 for the other two monitors.

As for the "Layout Mode" option it only lets me use FILL option. I supose this is correct, because three monitors are identical.

By clicking "Create AMD Eyefinity Configuration" a horizontal desktop resolution of 1920+44+1920+44+1920=5848 should result and of course the vertical one of 1080 (native to monitors)

However, a wrong resolution of 6336x1080 is applied.

If I try any other value in "horizontal offset" for monitors 3 and 1 (even just a value of 1) -->>> 6336x1080 desktop resolution.

Always set 6336x1080 desktop resolution.

The result is much worse than with a 5760x1080 desktop resolution.

It is as if my monitors had a frame of 5 cm each (to say a number, I will not calculate it)

I decided to try negative "horizontal offset" values for monitors 3 and 1 to see what happened and I entered -30 for both:

Then Eyefinity pro does it well!!!

It puts a desktop resolution of 5700x1080 (1920-30+1920-30+1920=5700)

CORRECT RESOLUTION.png

This is useless, that resolution is not useful, the bias in the image increases intensely.

This is really amazing. With any positive value of horizontal offset, eyefinity pro always set a wrong desktop resolution of 6336x1080; but with negative values it applies what you indicate.

Something isn't working or there's something I'm not doing right.

I am desperate and terribly frustrated.

Help me please.

Thanks and regards to all.
