Sad to see nobody has replied to you yet on this... I just built my first ever PC to replace my old low end prebuilt i ordered 6 years ago. Decided to go with a 7900XTX card and a 7800X3D processor. The PC runs any other game I've played very well without any issues! However...after about 30-60 mins of gameplay on Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora my game goes black and then i get sent back to desktop a bit later once it recollects its thoughts saying that my drivers have timed out :(. It's not that big of a deal assuming it gets resolved soon but it is a bummer I'm not able to play it.
not exclusive to Avatar unfortunately. I've been getting them on World of Warcraft. monitors go to black, GPU driver eventually restarts. the driver timeout is a common feedback on this forum.
7900XT, passes 3DMark and OCCT stress tests up to 1 hour.
