Hello, can you explain how to do this on Windows 11? Preferably with a photo example of how to disable auto update of the display driver?

Hi, I actually use Windows 10, though I can guide you with with Screenshots taken elsewhere. Unlike Windows 10, problem being in Windows 11 is that we can't specifically stop the GPU driver only. Instead we'll have to stop all device driver updates, unless using System Registry editor which I will list at the end since it's a harder process. So there are 3 methods, let's check the easy method first and harder down the line.

Using the Control Panel, enable or disable Windows 11's automatic driver updates.

• To access the Device installation settings window, click the Start menu, type "change device installation settings," and then click the resultant link.
• Click the Save Changes button after selecting the No (your device might not work as expected) option. By doing this, Windows 11 will no longer update drivers automatically.

Enable or Stop Windows 11 Automatic Driver Updates with Group Policy Editor

• Press Windows + R, type gpedit.msc, and press Enter to open Group Policy Editor.
• Navigate to, Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Windows Update - Manage Updates offered from Windows Update.
• Edit the policy “Do not include drivers with Windows Updates” in the right window.
• Click Enabled - Apply - OK to disable automatic driver updates in Windows 11.

Enable/Disable Windows 11 Automatic Driver Updates with Registry Editor

• Press Windows + R, type regedit, and press Enter to open Registry Editor.
• Navigate to, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DriverSearching.
• Double-click DriverUpdateWizardWuSearchEnabled and set its value to 0. This will stop Windows 11 automatic driver updates. To enable the automatic driver updates again, follow the same operation to set its value to 1.

Now the GPU only method. Stop graphics drivers update with Windows Registry.

• Click the Start button on your keyboard.
• Type Regedit on the search box and open the Registry Editor app.
• Allow the application to make changes to your computer.
• Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, go to SOFTWARE and scroll down to Policies.
• Select Microsoft and right-click Windows.
• Select New > Key.
• Rename your newly created key, preferably as Windows Updates.
• Right-click your newly created key, and go to New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
• Right-click the DWORD and rename it as ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate.
• Right-click the new DWORD and select Modify. Set the value data from 0 to 1 and click OK.

Нечего не помогло даже то что находится ниже, монитор через 20 - 30 минут или после запуска требовательной игры выключается что бы его включить мне нужно перезапускать весь компьютер.
