Amd adrenline saying download failed after updating to 24.12 and before that

When I upgraded my pc this started happening and i am wondering if it is a windows issue or a bug because I did a windows reinstall I also used amd clean utilty and ddu uninstaller also a bios update on my motherboard. My cpu is a ryzen 5 5600g my gpu is a msi mech 2x rx 6650xt and my motherboard is a msi b550 tomahawk is there anyway to fix it because when i use amd clean up it works for a little bit then goes away and this is happening to both my cpu and gpu.

Since you have an RX 6650 XT installed, I would go into the motherboard BIOS and disable your integrated graphics.  Then I would download and install the current Adrenalin 24.12.1 driver update if it's still saying it failed.

As Albert Einstein said, "I could have done so much more with a Big Al's Computer!".

No when I downgraded to 24.9.1 it started to work but then it is getting not great frame rates and it feels sluggish but I will test it out I think it is a big in the new driver after upgrading my ram and adding a new ssd

What program are you using to get rid of the drivers in order to reinstall the new drivers?

Ryzen 7 7800X3D, ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI, G.SKILL TRIDENT Z NEO 2x16GB DDR5 DRAM 6000MT/s CL30, AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, LIAN LI EDGE 1300, Corsair MP600 PRO NH 4TB

Amd clean up utility and ddu and I did a windows reinstall and a bios update

it went back to its issue but i think it is something wrong with the driver and i went back to a older one then it required me to update and now shows download failed

Are you downloading the driver from the AMD site, or are you using the autodetect tool? The autodetect tool is broken for many people so I would go to the AMD site for your card and download the latest driver. If that does not work, you can look run DDU and look at past drivers that AMD released on the driver page for your GPU via a link near the bottom of the page.

It might be because that driver was just for the 7000 series cards. I had the same issue trying to upgrade the drivers on my Radeon VII.

Ryzen 5700X3D, Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero, G.SKILL 4X16 GB DDR4  3200 MT/s CL14 DRAM, AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE, 3 Samsung SSD's in raid 0 for OS and programs, 2 Kingston Gen4 NVMe in raid 0 for Epic and Microsoft Games, 1 Corsair MP600 Pro NVMe for GOG games, 1 WD Black SN850P NVMe for Steam games, 1 4TB WD HHD for backup in a LIAN-LI 011 Dynamic case.

Do you have any idea about how to solve it? I had similar case in my
