I see you have 2 Displays connected to your GPU card.

What happens if you disconnect the first Display?  Do you now have the correct Resolution showing in Windows Setting - Display?

That's what I was thinking.  Perhaps the one he wants to run at 1440p should be the primary display too.

As Albert Einstein said, "I could have done so much more with a Big Al's Computer!".

The 1st display is the screen of the laptop.

I tried and choose only display on screen 2 but no change still not able to have the proper resolution the UG34 screen 😞

This is why it is important to post your PC information.

By your Post it gave me the impression you were using a Desktop PC and not a Laptop.

Here below the laptop type & info, let me know if it helps, thank you

It could be that Windows won't let you go to a higher resolution on the external display (currently screen 2) than the resolution that is running on the laptop display (currently screen 1).  Are you saying that you cannot tell Windows that the external display should be screen 1, and your laptop display is screen 2?

As Albert Einstein said, "I could have done so much more with a Big Al's Computer!".

that's correct, Screen numbers are defined by windows.
I even tried with disabling Screen 1 & display only on screen 2 but same issue....
