Rendering to 2 render layers seems to loose information. Open the attached file and render (f12). View the resulting image. RenderLayer_1 will have color while RenderLayer_2 will not.
(rpr 1.8, macos 10.13.6, blender 2.79b)
Fixed with latest release.
