RX5700 XT random screen freezes requiring reset

Been having this issue with the RX 5700 XT since I bought it.

Basically, at random times the screen will freeze. This could happen at the desktop, while typing up a document in LibreOffice, or, just an hour ago, I used to the keyboard shortcut to lock the computer and it froze at the Windows lock screen. By freezing, I mean that the screen no longer seems to accept keyboard or mouse input.

It does NOT seem to freeze the computer. I can access the shared drives via the network from another PC, but still requires a hard reset as it never recovers, and doesnt seem to accept ctrl-alt-del or ctrl-f4 input.. or at least, who knows whats happening, because I cant see what's happening.
The curious thing, which does lead me to believe that it is video card related, is that whenever this happens, and I have to hard reset, my custom fan curves in the Radeon Software -always- get reset to default, as well as the Power Limit slider.
There are no Windows log entries when this happens, except for the "unexpected shutdown" from me pushing the reset button.

I've tried updating all drivers, BIOS, not sure what else to do.
Tried unplugging and reinserting the monitor cable...
Turning on and off the monitor...

I'm really hoping that this isnt an issue with the card...
Have just now set the Power Button on the case to set the computer to Standby and will be trying to do that the next time it freezes the screen.

Any ideas? Will be happy to answer more questions.
