I am currently building a new desktop and have read that HSA architecture utilizes UMA and NUMA. I have also read that Threadripper 2990wx supports only NUMA and Threadripper 2950x supports UMA and NUMA.
I am wondering what is a preferred chipset for HSA architecture when NUMA is only offered depending on type of chip that is used?
This configuration for the build is Linux OS with AMD Threadripper 2990wx and an Asus ROG Zenith Extreme Motherboard.
Anyone have any recommendations or have any info when it comes to Threadripper 2990wx and HSA architecture.
