Radeon RX580 no video to monitor PC Starts up
Not much to go on. Best guess is your pc bios is not running in uefi bios mode. How old is your pc? OS? Where you able to get a signal to the monitor with the previous gpu?
Yes as stated earlier this pc runs, recognizes my old GPU. I have tried all outputs to my monitor that the rx580 has, none seem to work. Then I can put old card in and monitor receives a signal. I am going to return the rx580 for a full refund from the seller. I would have rather have had the card work as expected. as my old gpu is just that, OLD.... I'm very disappointed in this product.
As the previous poster said, if your system is not running in UEFI mode, the card will not work. Your existing GPU works because it does not require a UEFI Bios,
I suppose its possible to acquire a uefi bios for your machine but it would entail reinstalling Windows. Another route would be perhaps cloning and converting your present drive to uefi/gpt drive using a third party software like Paragon. Start your research on Windows Seven forums. Or third time just spring for a new PC. Good luck.
