2x HD7850 12 screens not working

Question asked by timmerdanny on Oct 14, 2017

I have the following setup:

MSI B350 GAMING PRO CARBON

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700x
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3000C15

SSD: Samsung Pro 960 m.2 SSD

Graphic Card: 2x AMD Radeon HD7850 with 6 mini-display ports

CPU and memory are working fine. We connect 12 screens to the videocards. There is a problem with the videocard connected in the second PCI-2.0. Six screens connected to that videocard are having extremely slow graphic performance, If we drag a window from one screen to another, you see it jumping. It's very laggy. If you look at the mouse pointer it's just not making smooth movements. If we do the same action on another screen connected to the first videocard in the first PCI-3.0 port everything works smoothly.

What I already tried to resolve the problem:

- Install latest BIOS 7B00v16

- Switch videocards from slot

- Tried another motherboard (Asus Z97-Pro) with same videocards, all working fine

- Tried to attach the CrossFire cable (CrossFire not working)

- Install the latest AMD drivers

- Checked the videocard temperatures (around 40C)

- Clean Windows installation

- Tried AMD overclock, not working

Any help will be apriciated.
