I'm using a Zeneth Extreme x399. Can't find anywhere that shows cores disabled for me to change.
Did you play around with Ryzen master and disable any cores? Also make sure you do not have legacy mode selected. (Check highlighted areas below)
If your using the standard windows balanced power plan, try switching it to performance and see if that changes it. If so you'll need the Ryzen balanced power plan that comes in the latest AMD chipset drivers available here: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows%2010%20-%2064
Check your BIOS, under CPU settings, there should be a setting for SMT make sure it is enabled.
That would show 8 cores, 8 threads, or 16 cores, 16 threads.
It would show 16 cores and 16 threads. I disabled my SMT and it shows 16 cores and 16 threads. I think he may have it in game mode.
You have 8 cores disabled, either in game mode (Ryzen master) or through BIOS. You don't have the correct amount of L3, so they are for sure disabled.
